Renaming, Again
OK, it is time. I need yet another new name for my blog.
I have my Texas license and plates; the local Nordstrom has my address. I can drive to a (limited) number of locations without getting lost. X has finished almost a year in school here. D is out fraternizing with the locals several late nights a week. The boxes are all unpacked (I think) and we are settled into our townhouse.
I can't be San Francisco Mom of One anymore, either GTT or in Austin. But clearly, I can't be Austin Mom of One. And just Mom of One sounds too stark.
So, who am I? Or, I mean, what is the name of my blog? It could be just GTT, but I think a place-oriented name isn't right this time.
Help me?

If I started a new blog I'd call it "Mental Floss."
You can use that if it works for you.
Otherwise, could always just go with your name.

I think I prefer to keep my actual name out of it, even though almost everyone who comments here knows that name.
Settling in, yes, I suppose so. That trip to the beach tripped some switch, I think.
SF Mom, I think, seemed about being a mom of about my age and living in a certain urban environment. To this reader's eye, you seem to be writing about more than parenting, though that is certainly part of that. I don't know if this is any help, but the blog is about all the different parts of you. Not managing all those roles, but the complexity of being a spiritual, political, thinking woman who is a parent, wife, daughter.....

I just want to say, that every time I see GTT, I think "glucose tolerance test". I don't know if that helps, though, since you were going away from that anyway. I don't have a suggestion for a new name at this time. --upper east tennessee mom of one
